Tehran, Iran, Nov.8

Trend:

Despite recent US sanctions against Iran, IranAir has no problem in supplying fuel to its aviation fleet, CEO of Iran Air Farzaneh Sharafbafi said, Tasnim News Agency reported.

“The US has imposed sanctions on about 65 air planes of IranAir, some of which have been crippled for many years,” she said.

Pointing to the impact of the change of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development on the policies of the company, she said IranAir has a three year strategic plan, according to which long-term goals are planned.

"We believe the new minister is in line with the macro policies of government, and continues the same path,” Sharafbafi said.

"We welcome anyone who can provide aircraft for Iran without obtaining permission from The US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)," said Sharafafi, referring to the IranAir program to renovate its fleet.
