Last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), the annual production plan of 550,000 tons of Bafgh Mineral Complex Iron & Steel Company (B-MISCO), located in Iran’s southeastern Yazd Province, was completed by 75 percent, said Mohammad Heydari, head of the fitting commissioning department at B-MISCO, Trend reports referering to IRNA.

Despite a number of problems, including the suspension of activity and non-working days (among others), it was possible to break new records in production last year, when compared to the preceding year (started March 21, 2017), Heydari noted.

Heydari expressed hoped that, with shortcomings and problems being solved, there will be a noticeable increase in production this year.

He went on to say that the production program for the current year is 45,000 tons per month.

B-MISCO currently produces various types of fittings. Fittings produced by this complex were first exported to Iraq in 2016, and 10,000 tons were exported by the end of that year.

The complex is located 26 kilometers from the city of Bafgh in Iran’s Yazd Province, and exports its products to Oman and Afghanistan.
