Iran's Deputy FM: Hormozgan Province has high economic capacity
Tehran, Iran, April 16
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Gholam Reza Ansari said that Hormozgan province has high economic capacity, so the opportunities should be exploited.
Ansari made the remarks at the Third International Investment Opportunities Conference in Hormozgan, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The official noted that one of the basic tasks that can be done by governors and academics is identifying problems.
Referring to a wide range of economic opportunities and diverse tourist attractions in Hormozgan, he said that the province is expected to contribute to the economy of the country with such capacity and further efforts.
Iran's largest port is located in Hormozgan province, he said referring to Bandar Abbas Port.
Referring to the experiences of the Foreign Ministry in attracting investors, he said that Iraqi market should be among the priorities in this case.
The third international conference on Hormozgan Investment Opportunities began on Monday with the presence of 500 domestic and foreign participants at the Bandar Abbas port.
