Iran and Oman are holding a joint trade commission meeting from November 22 to December 23, the head of Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce Mohsen Zarrabi told Trend.
Oman is resuming trade connection with Iran by lifting its COVID-19 lockdown restrictions and the Islamic Republic is looking to take advantage of the opportunity.
Removing trade obstacles will be the main topic of the meeting, which will also include banking and money transfer problems.
Launching barter system between Iran and Oman is also on the agenda of the two countries while the good advances and infrastructures in Oman ports and free zones are good advantage for Iran to re-exports its goods.
Iranian investors are focusing to invest in Oman's five year development plan that include mining, fisheries, industry, transportation, education and tourism sectors.
