BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 27. Iran exported more than 111 million tons of non-oil exports worth $48.8 billion, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), Director General of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Mohammad Rezvanifar said, Trend reports citing the administration.

Rezvanifar said that Iran’s non-oil products for the reporting period increased by 12.2 percent in value while decreasing by 1 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

The director general noted that $21.7 billion worth of petrochemical products and $6.8 billion worth of liquefied natural gas (LNG) were exported from the country in 11 months.

“Over 11 months, Iran exported non-oil products worth $13.6 billion to China, $9.4 billion to Iraq, $6.9 billion to Türkiye, $5.3 billion to the UAE and $1.9 billion to India. The mentioned 5 countries accounted for 75.7 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports for 11 months in value and 73.4 in volume,” he added.

Generally, Iran's foreign trade turnover amounted to about 145 million tons worth approximately $103 billion in 11 months.

Reportedly, Iran's non-oil exports exclude only crude oil, white oil, and mazut products.
