Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 March / Trend / Azerbaijan extracted about 370mln cu m of gas from Shah Daniz field from January to February, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reported.
In 2008, Azerbaijan is planning to extract 2bln cu m of gas from Shah Daniz field.
At present, four wells are operating in the field. Potential daily production rate of the field amount 22mln cu m of gas.
Within the framework of Stage -1 project some 8.6bln cu m of gas is planned to be extracted from the field.
