Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 October/ Trend / SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) exported about 16.1mln tons of oil via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in January to September 2008 against 4.7mln tons of the same period of 2007, SOCAR said.
SOCAR exported over 403,000 tons of oil through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in 2006.
Nearly 77,000 tons of oil was exported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in January to September 2008. No oil was exported via this pipeline in the same period of 2007 due to repairs.
Through Georgian Batumi Black Sea port, the same figure made up 326,000 tons of oil in January to September 2008 against 221,300 tons in the same period of 2007.
