In order to improve the ecological status of trust of combined drilling operations SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) realizes a number of activities on land and at sea, SOCAR Ecological Department said.
In particular, for the utilization of drilling slime, formed during the production process, the trust periodically delivers them to the center of waste of the Ecological Department. Also operations on conclusion contracts with various organizations for the delivery of other emissions, formed in the production.
In order to prevent the release of sewage into the sea from offshore platforms, utilization of sewage is envisaged in Caspian Sea Oil Fleet Department.
All operations are carried out under the plan of activities for 2010 in the direction of protecting the environment, improving the ecological condition and restoration of ecological balance.
