During eight months of this Iranian year (started March 21), 126,899 meters of oil and gas wells were drilled by the National Iranian Drilling Company in Iran's onshore and offshore zones, ILNA cited Mohammad Al Hamis, deputy executive director of the company, as saying.
He said that since the beginning of this Iranian year until the end of the eighth month, 98 wells were drilled.
Al Hamis added that 44 wells were expanded and 54 wells were repaired.
