The gross domestic product (GDP) of Azerbaijan decreased by 3.8 percent from January through October 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to 58.5 billion manat ($34.4 billion), Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, value-added in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 2.3 percent, and in the non-oil sector - by 6.3 percent.
In the mentioned period, GDP per capita made up almost 5,861.6 manat ($3,448), a decrease of 11.3 percent year on year.
In October 2020, the volume of Azerbaijan's GDP amounted to 52.1 billion manat ($30.6 billion), and GDP per capita – 5,222.5 manat ($3,072).
