Studying social networks can contribute to more rational decisions and social management within the e-government system, Information Technologies Institute Director Rasim Aliguliyev told Trend.
Aliguliyev said the main goal of "e-government" is to establish virtual relationship between government agencies, between citizens, between citizens and government, government and business structures, as well as businesses structures and citizens.
"All of these virtual relationships are reflected in different information resources, which are the real map of the society in the community. That is why the main goal is to determine the kind of electronic societies and analysis of the relationships in these systems. Assessment of the positive and negative tendencies will provide opportunities to make better decisions," Aliguliyev said.
Aliguliyev plans to speak on this key topic during the international conference on internet technologies and appliances (ITAP 2011). He will deliver a report on Technologies of social networks as a mechanism of reverse connection to feedback of e-government. The conference will be organized by Huazhong, Wuhan, Tianjin universities and IEEE non-commercial technical professional association of scientist and researchers from Aug. 16 to 18 in Wuhan (China).
The reports of the conference will be published in the IEEE publications.
