BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. The number of passenger planes that landed at and took off from Iranian airports increased by 21 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, more than 318,000 flights were carried out through Iranian airports within last Iranian year.
Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, the figure stood at over 264,000.
