The bodies of two miners who remained at the bottom of the mine by the name of Kuzembayeva of the Karaganda region after the ejection of coal and gas have been found, RIA Novosti reported.
Coal and gas flow occurred on Saturday at 04.53 (02.53 GMT) at the bottom of mine of JSC "Mittal Steel Temirtau." Five people remained at the bottom, three of them came on their own, two of them remained under the obstruction. As the result of emergency the obstruction was blocked with mountain mass for 30 meters. At the time of release the methane concentration was 58%. There was totally 107 people in mine, they were brought to the surface.
According to the Ministry of Emergency the section leader mine shaft engineer of the mining and excavation machines Yerokhin (was born in 1965) and the mining and excavation machines driver Kornilov (was born in 1957).
"The victim Yerokhin was found on Saturday at a distance of ten meters from the breast of the bottom without signs of life, and on Sunday night the body of Kornilov was also found," - the Ministry of Emergency stated.
"It is conjectured that the cause of the accident could be the sudden coal and gas release" - the press-service of JSC "Mittal Steel Temirtau states. According to the company there was held the full set of services on prevention of the sudden releases and all the services have responded promptly.
"Special investigation is conducted, on the results of which the appropriate measures will be taken", - the company assured.
The work in mine was suspended for one day. Since 08.00 (06.00 GMT) on August 21the mine is operating normally, rescue units returned to the locations. The concentration of methane in the mine is normal.
