Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said that Turkey's act against Russia was a big mistake and President Obama support for the act was a bigger mistake, which help expansion of conflicts in the region and take the conflicts to a higher level, Irna reported.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn here on Wednesday afternoon.
In the meeting, Larijani said that your country has good background in banking and financial issues and has good possibilities for investment and Iran will welcome investment in the field of oil and gas.
Larijani added that we take our steps upon nuclear issues deal and we are serious and hopeful that the other side takes action upon deal too.
He said that conflicts in the region caused security gap and this situation must be improved as soon as possible.
Referring to multiple elements for growth of terrorism in the region, Larijani said that the issue of confrontation with terrorism has two faces; one military and another one social-cultural and finding cultural-social roots are more effective than military pact.
