Turkish General Staff talks elimination of over 700 terrorists in Syria’s Afrin

The Turkish Armed Forces eliminated 712 terrorists of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Syria as part of the Operation Olive Branch, the Turkish General Staff said in a message Jan. 31.
“The Turkish Air Force struck 22 targets of PYD/YPG during the attacks as part of the Operation Olive Branch," the report said.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
