US presidential election led to chaos in world: Turkish parliament speaker
Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 22
By Rufiz Hafizoglu – Trend:
The results of the US presidential election led to chaos and clashes in the world, Turkish media cited Parliament Speaker Binali Yildirim as saying on Nov. 22.
“Chaos reigns near the borders of Turkey for eight years,” he said. “Turkey has suffered most of all because of armed clashes in neighboring countries. Despite the difficulties, Turkey hosted more than three million refugees from neighbor countries."
Yildirim stressed that the US sanctions against Iran have a negative impact on the entire region.
On Nov. 5, US sanctions against Iran entered into force. US President Donald Trump announced in May that Washington was withdrawing from the Iran nuclear agreement.
He also spoke about the restoration of all sanctions against Iran, including secondary ones, that is, against other countries doing business with Iran. Some sanctions against Iran came into effect on Aug. 7.
