Furniture exports to world markets from Turkey decreased by 0.3 percent from January through October 2020 compared to the same period last year, amounting to $4.471 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
The ministry noted that Turkish furniture exports account for 3.3 percent of the country's total exports from January through October 2020.
"In October 2020, Turkey exported furniture worth $527.88 million to world markets, which is 7.5 percent more than in the same month in 2019," the ministry said.
Furniture exports from Turkey in October 2020 accounted for 3 percent of the country's total exports.
"Over the past 12 months (October 2019 - October 2020), Turkey has exported furniture worth $5.515 billion," the ministry said.
