Russian scientist passes unique materials to NAR authorities

Professor Rudolf Ivanov, famous Russia historian, member of Writers Journalists Unions of Russia, passed Nakhchivan authorities the unique archive documents on famous Jamshid Nakhchivansky, representative of Nakhchivan khans dynasty, Ivanov told Trend in an exclusive interview.

These unique documents about life and tragic death of Azerbaijans son were passed to Vasif Talibov, chairman of Supreme Council of NAR, within the framework of the scientists visit to Nakhchivan. Soft copy of these materials will be passed to History Museum.

Ivanov said he had obtained these documents from archives of Federal Security Service of Russia. The materials reflect the life of General of Russian army, his arrest in 1938, trial and death. Ivanov plans to write a monograph about J. Nakhchivansky.

professor Ivanov is an author of 23 books and about 200 articles, including those on tsar Russia and Caucasus history.
