American teachers from Oklahoma study collaboration with Azeri varsities

Group of teachers of two universities in Oklahoma met with media representatives of Azerbaijan June 15, Trendreports.

Trend reports within the visit under the US Intergovernmental Cooperation Program, teachers of Oklahoma University and State Agricultural University studied the situation in the sphere of energy, agriculture and telecommunications of Azerbaijan. In particular, they discussed cooperation with executives of universities of Baku and Ganja.

Answering Trends question on prospects of development of Azeri-American relations in energy sphere, American teachers said soon Azerbaijan will supply up to 1 % of worlds oil. В"Oil market is a global market. Power carriers relations already exceeded governmental frameworkВ", - teachers said.

Responsible for execution of US Intergovernmental Cooperation Program in Azerbaijan is Colonel-Lieutenant Cragg L. Kerr, officer for bilateral relations of US Embassy to Azerbaijan.

Oklahoma teachers are leaving Azerbaijan Sunday, June 18.
