Ganja Aluminum Plant expects growth in production volumes in 2019, Director of the enterprise Jamil Safarov told Trend.
He noted that according to the current forecast, the production volume in 2019 will amount to 52,447 tons.
"Last year, the plant's production volume amounted to 51,967 tons. Every year we intend to increase production volumes, which the current capacity allows, as well as the full-fledged work schedule of the enterprise," Safarov said.
He added that at present the aluminum plant is operating at full capacity, all departments of the enterprise are involved, and the total number of employees is 1,200 people.
"The company produces primary and final aluminum products, as well as semi-finished products in the form of aluminum sheets. This year, our company has expanded its product range by releasing another type of semi-finished product. We envisage to work this direction further in order to fully utilize the production potential and expand our capabilities," the director said.
