Azerbaijani population’s nominal income decreases

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population at the beginning of October 2020 decreased compared to the corresponding indicator of last year, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on Nov. 12.

In accordance with the data, the nominal income of the Azerbaijani from January through September 2020 amounted to 41.6 billion manat ($24.5 billion), which is 1.4 percent less than in the same period of last year.

The country's nominal GDP amounted to 52.1 billion manat ($30.6 billion) from January through September 2020, which is 10.9 percent less than in the same period of last year.

From January through September 2020, the volume of GDP in the non-oil sector amounted to 31.8 billion manat ($18.7 billion), which is two percent more compared to the same period of last year.

Investments in fixed assets from January through September 2020 amounted to 10.4 billion manat ($6.1 billion), which is 284 million manat ($167 million) more than in the same period of last year.

At the beginning of October 2020, the average annual consumer price index was 2.9 percent.
