The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 29:
Export floor: Offers 14,600 tons of bitumen and sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 117,596 tons of bitumen, polymers, lube cut oil, vacuum bottom feed stock and paraffin wax.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 20,000 tons of Slab C from Khouzestan Steel Co., 86,880 tons of hot, cold, galvanized and tin plated steel sheets from Mobarakeh Steel Co. as well as 600 tons of aluminum billet, 20 tons of aluminum alloy ingots and 1,000 tons of 1000lb aluminum ingot from IRALCO Company.
Agriculture floor: Offers 7,200 tons of wheat, 2,900 tons of sugar, 1,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 170 tons of large lentil and 5,096 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 300 tons of palm oil, 20 tons of lactic butter.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
