The Libyan authorities have denied information disseminated by rebels about the death of Muammar Gaddafi's youngest son Khamis al-Gaddafi during NATO air strikes, Reuters reported citing official representative of the Libyan government Moussa Ibrahim.
"It is a lie. They (the rebels) made up this story to conceal their own murders," Ibrahim told RIA Novosit from Tripoli.
Earlier on Friday, the rebel leadership reported that 28-year-old Khamis al-Gaddafi was killed last night during NATO airstrikes on a command center in Zlitan.
