At least four people were taken to a hospital in Tallahassee, Florida, after a man opened fire in a yoga studio Friday evening, KCCI reported.
Police tweeted around 6 p.m. ET about an “incident” taking place near Thomasville Road and Bradford.
A man reportedly entered the yoga studio, which is housed above a restaurant, and opened fire, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
Witnesses at the restaurant said a woman who was panicking rushed down to the bar seeking help. Another person, a man, from the yoga studio followed her. His head appeared to be bleeding, said the witnesses, and he claimed the suspect pistol-whipped him.
He claimed he tried to stop the shooting, but the shooter reportedly fatally shot himself.
The extent of the victim's injuries is unclear at this time.
A Tallahassee police spokesperson confirmed the shooting took place in the area.
