Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / State-owned Lithuanian oil terminal of Klaipedos Nafta has intentions to invest the project on construction of oil pipeline for delivery of Caspian oil, Lithuanian Government stated on 5 June, according to NewTimes.Ru.
Klaipedos Nafta invests Poland company of Sarmatia, which takes part in construction of Odessa-Brody-Gdansk oil pipeline.
The project on construction of the oil pipeline was discussed by energy companies of Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Lithuania on 5 July in Warsaw. At a summit in May, all the six countries agreed to establish a joint enterprise for construction of the oil pipeline.
Poland PKN Orlen company, which last year purchased the control stock package of the Lithuanian Mazeikiu Nafta oil refining plant, got interested in the project.
