Official Baku is always ready to prevent the policy of Armenia on destroying residences, historical monuments and changing demographic situation in occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Araz Azimov, the Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister made such a statement at his interview to journalists on June 9, Trend reports.
He noted that due to the active steps of official Baku in the international arena, the policy of Armenia on settling in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan was prevented. Azerbaijan achieved to forward the OSCE mission on investigation of facts to the region and the report of the mission was discussed by UNO, told Azimov, noting that the position of co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group on this issue is principal.
Before the visit of OSCE mission to the region, the Azerbaijani side collected necessary number of documents which were delivered to international organizations, told Azimov, saying that the work in this direction is continuing.
Touching the shots shown by one of the local televisions about the fires in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Azimov noted that the fact will be studies comprehensively and if the facts of destroying residences in the occupied territories are revealed, Azerbaijan will raise the question at the highest level, as well as in UNO.
