The agenda of the Azerbaijani parliament's (Milli Majlis) plenary session, which will be held on Dec. 17, will include 14 issues, head of the parliament's press service Akif Tevekkuloglu told Trend on Dec. 13.
He said that most of the issues on the agenda are related to amendments made to existing legislation.
In particular, changes to the laws "On election of the heads of the working groups on inter-parliamentary relations of Milli Majlis", "On the status of members of the Milli Majlis", "On State Duties", "On the State Registry of Real Estate", "On State obligatory personal insurance of employees of judicial and law enforcement bodies", "On state Registration and State Registry of Legal Entities", "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Associations and Foundations), "On Grants" are planned. Amendments to the Administrative Offences Code will also be made.
Akif Tevekkuloglu said that the draft law "On personal identity card of the citizen of Azerbaijan, under the age of 15" will be discussed in the second reading.
He went on to say that the draft laws "On approval of the founding charter of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation" and "On Approval of the agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses between the government of Azerbaijan and the government of the Republic of Korea" will also be discussed.
