The referees of the Khazar Lankaran-Neftchi match didn't make serious mistakes, Azerbaijani
Professional Football League (PFL) President Ramin Musayev said.
"A video recording of the match was reviewed. On this basis, no one can prove that the referees made wrong decisions," Musayev told Trend March 29.
The Khazar Lankaran team played Neftchi in Lankaran during the Twenty-Fifth Unibank Premier League Tournament March 27. Khazar-Lankaran's management and football experts later said referee Afgan Gamzayev made questionable calls in favor of Neftchi.
Khazar-Lankaran's fans and football specialists reproached the league, asking them to review the referee's calls during the match.
According to Musayev, the PSL believes that the accusations have no grounds.
