In January-October 2018, Azerbaijan imported 19,336 vehicles, which is 2.4 times more than the figure for the same period of 2017, State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) said in a report.
Of the total number of vehicles imported in January-October 2018, 17,345 are cars and motor vehicles. In January-October 2017, 7,098 cars and motor vehicles were imported.
Moreover, 1,722 trucks were imported to Azerbaijan in January-October 2018 (795 in January-August 2017).
The rest of the imports accounted for other types of vehicles.
In 2017, Azerbaijan imported 13,098 vehicles compared to 5,746 in 2016.
