Number of Georgian companies registered in Turkey down

In the 1Q2019, two companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey, which is five companies less compared to the 1Q2018, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.

The total capital of Georgian companies registered in Turkey in the 1Q2019 was 105,000 Turkish liras, while in the 1Q2018 this figure was 679,800 Turkish liras.

In the 1Q2019, one Georgian company with a total capital of 100,000 liras was registered in Turkey's Antalya province, while the other one with a total capital of 5,000 liras was registered in Istanbul.

According to the TOBB, both companies operate in production industry.

Turkey is interested in increasing the number of Georgian companies in the country, the organization noted.
