Construction of ten new dairy farms will be launched in the Ayirtau district of North Kazakhstan region in 2021, Trend reports citing the regional akimat (administrative center).

The region’s Head Kumar Aksakalov said that all large agricultural producers in the region must organize meat or dairy cattle breeding.

“This is a common task for the local executive authorities and farmers. The projects are being implemented with state support,” he said

Twelve modern dairy farms have been commissioned in the region in 2020. A new dairy farm of the Arna venture was also launched in the region’s Ayirtau district. The construction of six dairy complexes continues in the region. Construction of 10 more farms will begin this year.

The regional akimat noted that the start of the construction of three feedlots for the development of the meat business was planned in the region. One feedlot has already been commissioned in the Kyzylzhar region. The construction of two more large feed yards for 13,000 places animals in the Ualikhanov and Akzhar regions is underway. Pedigree cattle were imported to the region to fill the future feedlots.
