( Worldcarfans ) - The completely reworked Aveo will be succeeding the Kalos starting March 2008, with its official global debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The hatchback will be sharing its name with the notchback Aveo across Europe.
The new Chevrolet Aveo hatchback comes with some of Chevy's new design features, most notibly the huge horizontally split grille with crossbeam and prominantly placed logo. A new, more fuel efficient 1.2 liter engine, producing 84hp, will join the current 1.4 liter 98hp engine.
More images and information are expected to be released at its debut in Frankfurt this September.
