Sales of Iran’s Khorasan Petrochemical Company amount to over $250M

Sales of Iran’s Khorasan Petrochemical Company in North Khorasan province amounted to 10.5 trillion rials (about $251 million) for nine months (March 21- Dec. 21) this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), Trend reports referring to the Iranian Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO).

The report reflects the company’s production and sales of urea, ammonia and melamine.

Some 99,800 tons of urea worth 1.5 trillion rials (about $37.5 million) were sold domestically, according to the report.

In nine months of this Iranian year, 37,700 tons of industrial urea worth 741 billion rials (about $17.6 million) were sold in the country.

This is while 253,000 tons of urea worth 6 trillion rials (about $143 million) were exported in the reporting period.

The report says that during nine months, ammonia worth 238 billion rials (about $5.6 million) was sold in Iran.

This is while ammonia worth 18.2 billion rials (about $434,000) was exported.

Besides, melamine worth 776 billion rials (about $18.4 million) was sold in Iran.

During nine months of this Iranian year, melamine worth 1.1 trillion rials (about $27.3 million) was exported.
