BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 17. Kyrgyzstan is currently collaborating with Turkish companies on four energy projects, Kyrgyz Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev said, Trend reports.

The announcement was made during a meeting with Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye Ahmet Berat Chonkar on the sidelines of the 4th Meeting of Energy Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

Ibraev shone a light on the ongoing talks about keeping the ball rolling in hydroenergy and renewable energy projects, underscoring Türkiye's know-how and impressive milestones in these fields.

He noted Kyrgyzstan's vast energy potential and encouraged Turkish investors, contractors, equipment suppliers, and technology providers to invest in prospective hydroenergy and renewable energy projects in Kyrgyzstan..

Ibraev expressed readiness to host delegations from Türkiye, underscoring that their involvement would bolster Kyrgyzstan’s energy sector and strengthen strategic partnerships.

The 4th Meeting of Energy Ministers of the OTS unfolded in Bishkek, where Ibraev also rubbed elbows with the heads of delegations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, and Hungary.
