The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Poland amounted to about $56 million in six months of 2017, according to the Polish side's statistics.

During the period, Polish exports were 22.1 percent more as compared to imports, said the Polish embassy in Tashkent.

Meanwhile, the growth rate of supplies of Uzbek goods within this period was more than 150 percent, which indicates the high quality of Uzbek products.

Poland mainly exports chemical industry products (more than a third of the total volume), machines, equipment, vehicles and spare parts for them to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan, for its part, exports cotton fiber and products of its primary processing (43 percent), products of the chemical industry (20 percent), plastics and products made of them (about 19 percent) and mineral products (more than 14 percent) to Poland.
