BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 1. Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) exported products worth $45.1 million in January 2023, Trend reports citing the press service of AMMC.

During the reporting period, AMMC exported 3,400 tons of copper products worth $29.1 and 2,100 tons of zinc products worth $6.6 million, as well as other products worth $9.4 million.

The source notes that in January 2023, the combined exported molybdenum products worth $8.8 million to the Netherlands.

AMMC exports its products mainly to Türkiye, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Tajikistan, the Netherlands, and China. It also exported products to new markets – Spain, Austria, Singapore, Finland, South Africa, and Senegal

Meanwhile, AMMC exported products worth $947.7 million in 2022. During the reporting period, the combine exported 75,208 tons of copper products and 58,737 tons of zinc products. Along with the mentioned products, in 2022 AMMC also exported goods such as selenium, tellurium, copper sulfate, sulfuric acid, cadmium, palladium powder, molybdenum products, as well as lead concentrate.
