TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 26. Uzbekistan’s Humo Air low-cost airline will launch new flights to six domestic destinations, Trend reports.
In the next three months, Humo Air plans to perform 1,000 flights, which will carry 200,000 passengers.
As per data provided by Humo Air, the private airline will receive three Airbus A320 aircrafts by the end of 2023.
Humo Air notes that the airline's activities will be aimed at the development of domestic tourism. In particular, the low-cost airline will launch daily flights to Samarkand, Bukhara, Karshi, Nukus, Urgench and Termez.
Moreover, Humo Air revealed its intentions to start flying to Kazakhstan’s Alma-Ata, Türkiye’s Istanbul and UAE’ Dubai in 2024.
Meanwhile, the Swiss investment company ValleyRoad Capital S.A. bought a 100 percent of Humo Air’s share for 27.2 billion soums ($2.2 million) at the end of 2022.
Humo Air LLC was established based on the property of the SUE "Airline of Special Air Operations " in 2020. The authorized capital of Humo Air LLC includes 43 An-2 airplanes, aircraft engines, flight simulators, and other property.
