The Petrochemical Industries Development Management Company of Iran has shares in the projects of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, said the CEO of Petrochemical Industries Development Management Company (PIDMCO).
"The PIDMCO is participating in the Persian Gulf Bidboland gas refinery creation project and gas flaring processes launched by the National Iranian South Oil Companythat would provide enriched feed to Bidboland refinery," Safar Ali Babaie told Trend in an interview.
"The second phase of Ilam Petrochemical Company includes olefins, hydrogen, and flue gas desulfurization units. The PIDMCO are active in big projects in Hengam and Apadana in Asalouyeh region and reconstruction of Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Plant in Mahshahr region and gas sweetening project in the plant," he said.
Babaie went on to say that the company participates in downstream projects in Nouri Petrochemical Company that would extinguish flare and produce ammonium sulfate and other by-products.
"The PIDMCO is present at projects of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company across the country in Andimeshk, Sonqor County in Kermanshah, Asalouyeh, Mahshahr, Behbahan which would help the implementation of projects by accelerating the working projects and launching them," he noted.
"Ilam Petrochemical Company was recently inaugurated by the President and BidbolaIlam Petrochemical Company was an annual project, the PIDMCO entered the project as management contract (MC) and was an executive arm for Ilam Petrochemical Company, since it was an annual project we were forced to break structures," he added
The PIDMCO has used 32 specialized contractors in Ilam to implement each task in a parallel time with proper quality. The olefins petrochemical unit in Ilam is a 500,000 tons unit but the project was very heavy and different from other similar projects. It has different licenses and many downstream products. The PIDMCO has solved all the design problems without the presence of foreign companies with low costs and finish the project according to predicted costs.
