Turkey does not intend terminating its relations with Egypt due to the military coup that took place in this country, Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said, CNN Turk reported on Friday.

According to Arinc, Turkey doesn't plan to stop financial aid to Egypt.

"Turkey has given a promise to provide Egypt with $2 billion credit and we will stay true to our promise. The country has provided $1 billion. The remaining sum will be sent soon," Arinc noted.

In the aftermath of President Mohammed Morsi's ousting from power, Turkey said that it doesn't support such action in this country.

Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu said that the overthrow of Morsi is the manifestation of disrespect toward the will of Egypt's people.

Clashes between supporters and opponents of President Mohamed Morsi have been continuing after the Egyptian military suspended the constitution of Egypt and ousted Morsi from power.

Egyptian Islamists do not recognise these decisions and demand the return of power to the legally elected president.
