Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says he expects to achieve a $100 billion trade turnover level with Russia by 2023.
"As you know, our goal is to reach the $100 billion mark. We set the goal to reach this level by 2023," RIA Novosti quoted Erdogan as saying Sept. 23 at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He also noted that, despite the difficulties in the global economy, the bilateral trade turnover is remarkable for positive tendencies.
Erdogan added that the bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia have reached a very good level.
He also thanked Putin for his personal contribution to the issue of construction of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.
