Institute of History of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences will issue the second volume of book on genocide against the Azerbaijani people in 2010, Director of the Institute, Member of Milli Majlis Yagub Mahmudov told Trend .
He said the book will describe genocide against Azerbaijani people committed by Armenians in Shamakhi, Guba, Salyan and other regions of the country based on official documents.
In 2011, the Institute intends to issue the third volume of collection, which will include the witnesses' memories on the tragic events, Mahmudov said.
"The collection of documents on the genocide will be issued in three volumes. The first volume dedicated the genocide March 31, 1918 was issued in early 2010. The documents proving absence of Stepan Shaumian in the list of shot 26 Baku commissars and other important documents," he added.
