As of now, there are no citizens of Azerbaijan among the victims of fire in Batumi’s Leogrand Hotel, Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Batumi Rashad Ismayilov told Trend Nov. 25.
“We are at the scene together with the staff of the Consulate General. Identification of fire victims has been completed. Referring to the information from the Ministry of Health of Ajara, I can say that at the moment there are no citizens of Azerbaijan among the victims. However, we continue to contact hospitals, and are clarifying the information,” said Ismayilov.
Eleven people died in fire in the Leogrand Hotel in Georgia’s Black Sea resort city of Batumi, the Georgian Interior Ministry said late on Friday, TASS reported.
