The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) head, Jacob Kellenberger has met the Azerbaijani Healthcare minister, Oktay Shiraliyev on April 3, the ministry press-release told Trend.
Cooperation in the tuberculosis struggle was discussed at the meeting.
The minister has stated the necessity to provide more drugs to correctional facilities and diseased persons. Besides, a number of prophylactic works has to be carried out.
Strengthening of cooperation, launching joint programs and conduction of trainings aimed to prepare experts with the tuberculosis struggle were discussed at the meeting.
