Iran's Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company talks implementation of project

Iran's Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company will implement a project worth $1.5 billion to upgrade the quality of the products as of the second half of next Iranian year (October 23, 2021, through March 20, 2022), Managing Director of the company, Hashem Namvar said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

The director emphasized that the work on the project to upgrade the quality of the company's heavy products will be completed within 3 years.

Namvar added that so, the amount of sulfur in the company's products will be reduced by 1 percent.

The refinery of Iran's Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company processes 350,000 barrels of crude oil and gas condensate per day. In this regard, the company ranks third among Iranian oil companies. The company produces liquefied gas, gasoline, white oil, diesel, mazut, solvent 402, lube cut, sulfur, and other products.
