Azerbaijan exported 1,743 tons of crude oil to Turkey in the first 2 months of 2021, Trend reports citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, in value, the export of crude oil to Turkey in the reporting period amounted to $470,060.
From January through February, Azerbaijan exported a total of over 5.69 million tons of oil, which is 0.3 percent more compared to the same period of 2020. In monetary terms, the country’s oil exports amounted to $2.04 billion, which is 25 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
In February 2021, the trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan increased by $26.4 million compared to the same month of 2020, amounting to $194.2 million. From January through February 2021, the trade turnover between the two countries also increased by $91.8 million year on year, surpassing $410.1 million.
