Statistics Department discloses volume of paid services rendered to population in Baku

By early December 2020, the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan's Baku city decreased by 28.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019, Trend reports on Jan. 11 with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department.

The volume of paid services amounted to 3.6 billion manat ($2.1 billion).

Legal entities rendered services to the population in the amount of 2.4 billion manat ($1.4 billion), which is 68.1 percent of the total cost of services.

The average monthly nominal wages of employees amounted to 926.7 manat ($545.1), increasing by 9.7 percent on an annualized basis.

Earlier, the Baku City Statistics Department reported that by early October 2020, the cost of paid services rendered to the population decreased in real terms by 29.1 percent and amounted to 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion) compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
