The average monthly nominal salary in Azerbaijan reached 703.5 manat ($413.8) from January through November 2020, Trend reports citing the report data of the State Statistical Committee of the country.
The overall average monthly nominal salary in the first eleven months of last year was 12.9 percent higher compared to the same period of 2019.
Following comprehensive social reforms carried out on the basis of relevant decrees of the Azerbaijani president, the minimum salary in the country was raised to 250 manat ($147), which increased the salaries of civil servants, employees of a number of budgetary institutions, enterprises, and organizations.
