Azerbaijan as approved a new national information and communications technologies services classifier, the Communication and IT Ministry said on Thursday.
The new statistical classifier reflects necessary services and services provided in Azerbaijan in the sphere of information and communication technologies.
The classifier, which is registered by the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents under code AZT 042-2011, has been applied from June 20.
The draft is coordinated with relevant government agencies, as well as scientific and educational institutions.
Adopted classifier is identical to the international classification of economic activities in the European Community.
