(Kazinform) -Kazakhstan is the only candidate for the OSCE presidency in 2009 for now, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Special Representative for cooperation with OSCE Rakhat Aliyev has told at todays fourth sitting of the State Commission on Democratic Reform Program's Development and Specification, reports Trend.
Up to present no candidate alternative for OSCE chairmanship in 2009 has been registered yet, he added.
Kazakhstans application for OSCE presidency will be tabled this year-end.
