Uzbekistan imported meat and meat products from January through November 2021 in amount of $24.2 million, which is an increase by 2.6 times compared to the beginning of the year ($9.1 million), Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, Uzbekistan also imported dairy products worth $7.6 million, which is 2.1 times more than in January 2021 ($3.4 million).
Imports of vegetables and root crops in 11 months of 2021 increased by 2.4 times in comparison to the beginning of the year ($3.9 million), reaching $9.9 million.
From January through November 2021, imports of fruits and nuts amounted to $8.1 million, which is an increase by 21.8 percent compared to the beginning of 2021 ($6.6 million).
Import of cereals during the corresponding period amounted to $75,100, which is an increase of 36.6 percent compared to January 2021 ($54,900).
